Uptempo, the music house and audio post-producer, announced the incorporation to the team of the experienced sound engineer, Ricardo Bigai.I am very glad that Ricardo is finally part of the Upstairs/Uptempo team. It had been a goal that Roger and I had set some years ago and we can finally work together, Anabella Sosa, Upstairs/Uptempos president, commented to PRODU.”Ricardos experience joins our engineer Jeannine Guenther to set a top creative duo in sound and mix, which I consider unique in Miami, Roger Dominguez, Uptempos executive producer, added.Bigai started his career as sound engineer more than 20 years ago, participating in more than 50 musical productions for many international artists. Since he arrived to Miami in 1997, he has had the chance to work for Sony Discos, EMI Latin, Warner and Universal Music record companies, to mix, produce live events, as well as advertising commercials along with people like Ricky Martin, Gloria Estefan, Julio Iglesias jr, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Franco De Vita, Chayanne, among others. In the Audio Posts world, Biggai has had the privilege to record in top projects for cinema, advertising and television with celebrities such as Matt Damon, Gene Hackman, Christian Slater, among many others. Joining Uptempo means a new challenge that offers me the chance to work with varied clients in the advertising, film and television scenarios, with new creative opportunities,” Biggai commented.
